Team Shan will be presenting at the 2015 International Conference on Health Promoting Universities and Colleges in Kelowna, BC on Tuesday, June 23rd!!

Beautiful flower planters will be available at Van Dyk’s Greenhouses in Woodstock, ON from Saturday, May 9th to Saturday, May 23rd!! Proceeds from planter sales will support Team Shan 🙂

Team Shan will be presenting at the annual Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO) conference in Montreal this week. Lorna Larsen, Team Shan President will present on Understanding the Impact of Breast Cancer Awareness for Young Women-response from young women along with sharing a poster presentation and update at the annual Community Based Organizations session at the conference.

‘Animated Shan’ was launched today to support Team Shan social media efforts to reach young women with their breast cancer risk and breast health information. Launched as part of Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week 2015 and Team Shan fifth anniversary as a national charity activities…welcome ‘animated Shan!’

Team Shan will be hosting a multi-faceted breast cancer awareness campaign on and around the University of British Columbia Vancouver campus in the fall of 2015. Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation-BC/Yukon funding support has been received for the project.

Team Shan will be celebrating our fifth anniversary as a national charity throughout 2015!!
