City of Woodstock Tribute to Shanna
Team Shan is named after Shanna (Shan) Larsen. Shan was only 24 when she lost her life to breast cancer. Shan was a Woodstock resident, lifeguard and swimming instructor at Southside Aquatics Centre and professional figure skating coach in nearby Embro and Thamesford. The City of Woodstock has announced a special ‘park naming’ tribute to Shan through Heart FM 104.7 FM and the Sentinel Review article Local Park could be named after Shanna Larsen 🙂
